HTM Tack List The items listed below are required for all Horse Training and Management students. Each student must bring these items with them or purchase them upon their arrival in Lamar for the start of the Fall Semester.

1. Good quality western saddle, with front cinch-28 or 30 inches long and a back cinch - Qty 1
2. Saddle pads or blankets- NO KOOL BACK PADS - Qty 2
3. Headstall with O-ring snaffle bit, minimum 43/4 inches wide - Qty 1
4. Pair heavy leather split training reins, _ to 1 inch wide, 7 to 8 ft. long - Qty 1
5. 18 qt. flat backed buckets. Buckets need snap or hook of some kind to hang - Qty 2
6. Curry comb - Qty 1
7. Medium soft brush - Qty 1
8. Flat nylon halter or rope tie halter, with 8 to 10 ft. long lead rope - Qty 1
9. Inch cotton driving lines, 20 ft. long with snaps - Qty 2
10. Animal thermometer - Qty 1
11. Running martingale - Qty 1
12. Set of horse clippers - Qty 1
13. Hoof pick - Qty 1
14. Leather punch - Qty 1
15. Pair of hobbles - Qty 1
